Inspired by the stylistic traditions of the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements, master designer Richard Hoosin employs similar production techniques to those of Louis Comfort Tiffany. To construct the lamp shades, meticulously matched pieces of cut art glass and hand-selected, copper-foiled shells from Polynesia, Madagascar, the West Indies and Indonesia, are assembled and hand-finished in his Chicago studio by skilled artisans. Each lamp base, likewise hand-finished in the Hoosin Studio, has an antique bronze patina finish.
